Mapajo Ecolodge is fully owned, administrated and operated by the indigenous people of the Asunción del Quiquibey (Tsimane-Moseten Community) located on the Quiquibey River.
We built and created Mapajo to generate incomes through sustainable tourism, protecting the biodiversity, wild life, our forest and our traditional way of life. All profits from MAPAJO are used to finance small community projects to improve the quality of life for our families and communities every year. Families earn income from their work with the lodge.
We want you to enjoy our rainforest and cultures. Our approach to tourism is based on respect for our NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE.
